Remembering a Legend!

Two years ago today one of the most legendary hairdressers of our time passed away.
Vidal Sasson was and still is a huge inspiration to ever single hairdresser today, breaking bounderies and credited with creating a simple geometric, "Bauhaus-inspired" hair style, also called the wedge bob which has gone on to become one of the most famous haircuts within the hairdressing industry.

"In the world of hair, there is no one who broke the rules more than Vidal Sassoon. His revolutionary career debuted in an era of stiffly lacquered updo’s; his signature handwriting influenced by mid-century architecture caused a revolution. Sassoon’s free moving, geometric cuts were as important a part of the Swinging Sixties as Mary Quant’s fashion. He cut the hair of everyone who was anyone, launched salons across the globe, founded the hairdressing school that still bears his name and became a global brand with a bevy of hair styling products and tools. But what made the career of Vidal Sassoon even more extraordinary was his impecunious start in life and the unique mix of steely discipline and trailblazing vision took him on an incredible journey to reinvent the art of hairdressing."
