Simply un-done hair was probably one of the biggest trends at S/S14 taking centre stage at shows such as Calvin Klein, Versace, and Alexander Wang.
Beachy/surfer looks of the past seasons have been tamed, with less volume, and a softer more relaxed feel, hair that looks like you have done nothing when you really have!
effortless, cool chic.
To achieve this look you need a cut thats soft, and layered. The key point to this look is that the layers must appear seamless, meaning you cannot see where the layers begin or end. To create this look working with the hair dry is a must! visually slicing and back cutting, removing weight and encouraging movement. With the right hair texture you can also introduce razor cutting.
Products choice should be kept light and to a minimum, leave in conditioners, dry shampoo sprays, and powders if more volume is desired. If your ends are dry or heavily processed a light serum may be used on the ends.
