HOW TO Create a chic knot

Classic, timeless knots and chignons are the perfect solution for clients looking to create a wow factor without spending hours in the salon.

Aaron Carlo of Headmasters, London, has created this simple yet elegant knot. Here is how you can recreate the look.

Step One: Blow-dry the hair smooth using a Mason Pearson brush away from the hairline keeping the brush close to the head. To keep this look on-trend create a deep middle parting to one side and spritz with hairspray for extra hold.

Step Two: Sweep the hair back into a low ponytail at the nape, leaving a section of hair free above the ear.

Step Four: Using L’Oréal Professionnel Mythic Oil(eller en annen olje, vi i salongen bruker Matrix og Redken sine oljer) smooth the ends and tuck into the knot.

Step Five: Loosely pin the free section from above the ear into the bun to give the knot some added interest. Apply gloss for added shine.
